Chair of the Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board

We are pleased to be working with Leeds City Council and its wider partners in the community to search for a new Chair of the Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board. Leeds has set out its intention to be a healthy and caring city for all ages – keeping vulnerable adults safe from harm is a key part of promoting a person’s well-being.

The Chair will provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board implements agreed multi-agency plans to drive forward the safeguarding agenda in Leeds. They will hold the partnership to account for the safe delivery of services to citizens of Leeds while ensuring the board works collaboratively, inclusively and collectively.

The role will be independent of Leeds City Council, will be engaged on a consultancy basis paid at a daily rate of £550 per day (plus expenses), up to a maximum of 30 days per year. The appointment will be made for 3 years, with a review after 12 months.
