Janvier is an experienced HR professional with more than 20 years experience of HR, Diversity and Organisational Development within Councils, the Fire & Rescue Service and the Police.  She was a Senior HR Manager in local government and more recently the Director of HR at Leicestershire Constabulary, before moving into consultancy. Janvier has a degree in social sciences, majoring in social psychology and a Masters in employment law. She has recruited to Chief Executive, and many Director and Assistant Director roles within the public sector.

Janvier specialises in change management, facilitation for dysfunctional teams, equalities, complex people issues and problem solving . She has been involved in all HR aspects of major Council restructures and has advised and provided career management for senior managers.

• When were you most scared? Going up Mount Etna in a 4 wheeled vehicle
• What is the most beautiful place, image or thing you have ever seen? Paris in the spring, summer, autumn and winter – especially Place des Vosges
• What really annoys you? Unfairness that I can’t do anything about, bad service in shops and restaurants, lazy menus in restaurants, too many adverts during Coronation Street
• What would someone never guess about you? I used to be a bit of a punk rocker
• If you could travel anywhere and when, where would you go? London in the 1820s to meet with the poets Byron and Shelley – as a grand lady, of course!
